That’s a veeeeeeery optimistic “up to”. It’s not like a car where you don’t need the full cycle every day and it has proper active thermal management. In fact I would call it an outright lie.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but it’s an entire selling point of this phone. A battery that should be better than Li-ion, with active cooling (a vapor chamber that claims to dissipate 40% more heat).

I’m impressed at the design of my 2023 Moto Razr as far as battery heat management goes. It’s not perfect on this cheaper device but it is efficient. The aluminum sides of the chassis are very good at dissipating heat and they’ve clearly designed it to navigate heat to the sides.

If it were Li-ion I would never consider this device but they didn’t toss a shitty Li-ion battery in it. Not much of a battery expert myself. I’m sure you can’t replace it without paying a dime or some annoying DIY but that’s not particularly relevant to me when every modern phone is the same. Primarily I want faster charge times and longer daily life which this seems to (hopefully) offer.

Edit: I’m sure a vapor chamber is a form of passive cooling, please don’t eat me alive. I mean active in the sense of they did something
