Im from politics, where poc means person of color. I hope that differs here?
Proof of concept
Good point. It means Proof of Concept.
Just to clarify this: proof of concept in this case means proof that a cyber security issue can actually be exploited to hurt the target software/hardware.
Yep.
Thanks :) “Exploitarium drops some POCs” is a quite frightening sentence in some scenarios xD
I’m from shitposts where it means piece(s) of crap. So I was wondering why it’s news he’s dropping logs…
Who are these colourless people? Like gray or?
People in the cultural left in Europe often use this term in order to sensitively describe people who are (historically) discriminated because of their phenotypes. (E.g. Asians, latino, blacks, etc…)
I know you are satirical, but you are also kinda correct. Non-POCs would typically be “whites” (at least in Europe) who are still privileged, going back (at least) since colonialism. (E.g. Nordic, alpine or mediterranean phenotypes")
Mediterranean* 🤓🙇🏽♂️
Taken down? The link 404s now.
Yea, I’d say it has. Stupid Microsoft
