I really hate the way they use the colour in the netting to try to make the fruit look better / fresher. Red netting for oranges to make them look more ripe, onions in brownish netting, limes in green netting, garlic in white netting.

I’d pay more for neutral / translucent netting that’s more honest. Or, maybe we can just get rid of the plastic entirely and use paper or something.

  • Fruit doesn’t last long around me because I fuckin’ love fruit. Orange, apples, pineapple, all the berries including bananas… The only one that I’d rather have in candy or other forms besides raw, are blueberries because fresh, raw blueberries tend to not have much taste, aside from the smaller shriveled ones that are like 2 for every 100.

It’s the fruits fault. It doesn’t look 100% fresh and has some weird discoloration and bumps. Also I have to cut out seeds or something do some other work like that.

If I could choose how much fruit to buy and not have to buy it in pre-determined package sizes, this issue would disappear for me.

      *fruit flies

Gnats are outdoor insects which bite you and don’t care about your rotting produce.
