Keyboard is going to need some amps or PAs as well there to plug into.

That, or get everyone in the band to agree to rent a practice space somewhere convenient for everyone that already has a kit set up.
Sure, at the very beginning of the launch of Git, Mercurial was better/had more features/more mature/etc.
