Proton’s proven to be open-source on a good chunk of their applications (server-side, not so much), Mullvad is proven to be FOSS as well from what I understand, and Tuta’s open-sourcing their stuff too.

Just like with the 4th wave of AI:

“AI can’t be held accountable, therefore its operators must be held accountable.”

And yet, we like to gatekeep because it’s “souless”, despite the fact you can get better insight (as proven by science) on things you’ve already been learning about.

However, I will point out that if those of a low IQ use it, they only lower their IQ.

This wasn’t an error. This was malicious.

They’re proprietary. It doesn’t seem to be a good idea right now.

Someone needs to audit their stuff so we can get a good idea of what they’re like, and then see how they react.
