Yocto and compile it all yourself. Arch people might think they are cool because they have to use a console to install their de but creating the devicetree for your board and then only get a console over a serial connection or ssh is the true linux experience.

I also cant use deepsleep with linux, suspend ro ram or disk doesnt work well and my pc will hang but i can live with this since i never had anny other issues with endeavoros. Being in charge of when and how updates happen and how fast they install is enough to never go back to winodws. I just need freecad to become good.

What do you feel like are the issues that normal users dont get?

Had set up dualboot for bf6, then after playing a bit on release i realised the game isnt as good as bf3/bf4 and returned it. Havent booted into win11 since.

With embedded stuff its still done like that. And if you go from the arduino functionss to writing the registers directly its a hell of a lot faster.
