Oh sorry, I thought your earlier comment was for fun. Yeah by 2.4ghz I truly just mean the dongle tech which is usually also referred to as just 2.4ghz.

YES I HAVE! You guys convinced me to become a Cyclone 2 enjoyer.
- Have you ever had controller support issues in any games?
- Does the GameSir software work on Linux?
- If you’ve got the white version, then how easy does it get dirty in your case?

That is a really cool and respectable controller! The first and probably only EU controller mentioned here (atleast it name technically). Unfortunately I have already took the pill and bought the Cyclone 2 before you, however where did you find that this has TMR? I searched Speedlink’s website and they only mention HE sticks (+ I’ve never seen a TMR controller which listed PS3 compatibility without mentioning PS4 or PS5) https://www.speedlink.com/en/RAIT-NX-RGB-Gamepad-Wireless-Wired-for-PC-Android-Switch-OLED-Lite-clear-transparent/SL-650115-CR
Maybe I’m just blind, I’m still interested tho since it’s EU designed. I guess you don’t know but what is the latency of your controller? There are usually barely any reviews about cheap EU made / designed controllers compared to the other names.

I think you’re the first Direwolf 4 user in here. Does the software work on your Sparky? Tbh it’s not really a dealbreaker, I’m just interested.

That sounds wonderful! Does the software work too? Interesting, apparently 2.4ghz should also work according to Gamepedia https://gamepadla.com/8bitdo-ultimate-2-wireless-controller.html

Yeah those purple Ultimate 2 colors are sooooo catchy! I actually bought a Cyclone 2 from the comments, but honestly it just feels like this: Big hands - Cyclone 2 Small / medium hands - 8bitdo

Not necessarily, I might have been just misinformed or got influenced by the negativity bias. It might actually be good in QC.

Hmm do you mean other possible controller alternatives that I was able to find? If you care about latency you can check out this site, which lists off a lot of controllers and you can search for only TMR and HE controllers too. https://gamepadla.com/

Based F310 enjoyer. Your dedication is respectable.

Do you feel that it’s a bit too small for you?

Letsgooo! One last question. Do you have big hands and does it fit good on you? Ultimate 2 seems less wide than other GameSir controllers.

I will most likely buy the controller tomorrow or today, but I’m interested about your findings! There might be someone who reada this post after X months and decides based on your input.

I believe in you, then do you actually see your Steam Controller being recognized as an actual controller in non-steam games?
I’ve heard the argument that it is recognized as a KBM if you’re not on Steam.

Do you have big hands? There is a commenter with Cyclone 2 in here who wasn’t able to reach the L1 comfortably.
Yeah that QC issue might actually not be as big as it seems to be. Something, something negativity bias.

Honestly that is an absolute bullseye of a suggestion! I did check out the TT Pro and TT Max as well (TT Max is unnecessarily overkill, I’ve forgot the reasons) so if somebody wants a controller with a PS layout then it’s perfect! Also the latency is good as well: https://gamepadla.com/gulikit-tt-pro.html
What games do you use your Gulikit for?

Ultimate 2 actually fits all of the boxes if I’m lucky with QC because it has some tasteful RGBs in there and it looks beautiful honestly. Battery life isn’t a problem if you use the dock tho. Did you buy it without the dock?

Well you may be right, I’ve just read comparably more complaints on faulty 8bitdo Ultimate 2 controllers compared to the Cyclone 2 (these 2 controllers are frequently being compared to eachother) and whilst I don’t trust too much in TrustPilot but the ratings of these 2 brands are far away (2.2 and 4.0 basically) which was sus. So it seemed to me that their QC isn’t as strict as GameSir’s is.
Oh well I have just kinda made this conclusion whilst reading the comments in this post, but actually it seems that some big hand people feel that the ultimate 2 is still good for even big hand dudes.
