I wonder how much of the gender divide just comes from social conditioning. Most women I know have been told from a young age to plan to grow their family and add people to a household, but most of the guys are expected to just exist until it’s time and to then find a house big enough for (???) people. That being said, I think 2-Bed/2-Bath is the sweet spot for most people.

Now this is a 20R Toyota I’d do borderline illegal things to own. This would be worth spending some money on. I’d probably swap in a 22R, or even EV swap it

The fairing and luggage are both period correct, too. I managed to snag the aftermarket fairing with the bike specific mount off of CL for $100 (and a several hour drive) still wrapped up new from someone who bought it in '83 and never got around to fabricating a mount for the bike he wanted to mount it to. It’s always a strange feeling to open up new packaging that’s decades old.

It’s actually a proto sport tourer, sibling bike to the Magna and closely related to the VFR Interceptor. The big Sabre 1100 was one of the fastest production bikes of the early 80s, but the 700/750s are a bit more tame, with mid-70ish horsepower.
I’ve basically turned it into a retro VFR800x Crossrunner, which Honda never brought over to the states.
The original owner put 7000 miles on it since buying it new, and I doubled it within 2 years haha. I did 2 1000+ mile rides back to back in '23. It’s been a good bike.
2b/2b (or 1.5 bathrooms) hits a sweet spot because it can give you/a spouse a private bedroom and bathroom, a separate bathroom for guests or a child/spouse to use, and a second room that can be a bedroom, guestroom, office or hobby room. It’s also a layout that can work well at 900-1100 sqft, especially if it’s not a ranch layout with a hallway eating usable space.
