5 days agoI’m in Japan right now. This is maybe only true for fish. These guys fry plenty of stuff and it’s all delicious.

I have seen some fried rice balls around. They were more pan fried than deep fried. In fact, nothing I’ve had here is really what we’d consider deep fried in America, even if the cooking style is similar, because the batter is so light and not greasy.
