I’ve had 6 of them now and never had one completely brick after an update, however I have had 3 of them where it seemed an awful lot like the wifi went to shit after an update and then just kinda stayed mostly shit. Still kinda hard to beat the price for what you get.

I’m not sure it’s definitely AI, part of the ‘generator’ appears to be the Lenovo power brick and where they have it attached moving around.
Not sure about the chain in the middle right picture though.

Around non-specifically 50% compared to as high as 29.999% doesn’t seem like a huge delta. I wonder what the real number on both is.
Edit: Looks like it was 52.4 and 29.1 respectively. The numbers on how much they trust the responses later in the article might be more worrying.

The media is pushing that as a solid theory and it’s not crazy. What’s bad for openai is good for anthropic / etc, but there are a lot of places they could be putting that money that would benefit them more directly.

You’d think so, but from what I’ve personally heard at least… Anthropic seems to mostly be doing right by the community with their contributions like this. I could be falling for the propaganda, but guys are even backing groups pushing for stronger AI guardrails and oversight.

Religious tolerance is important even when you’re vibe coding.

I like Trakt as a concept, I’ve used it sporadically, but their pricing was always optimistic, even at $30 a year. It has worked for them overall so far because it’s a well made project and people like them, but the value proposition of paying $5 a month now for something like Trakt feels crazy. It’s hard to look at different types of services at that price point and come to the conclusion that Trakt is comparable. There are actual streaming services creating some of the shows that show up on Trakt that are very similar in price (Dropout as a good example).
Only rational thing I can think of with this recent decision is that they’re tired of running Trakt and hoping to sell it off or close it up.
If you can add AI to your title somehow, that might even be midrange. I was talking to someone who has not been doing this long pushing pretty close to a half million dollar salary and then bonuses on top.
