    Apparently the terms and conditions were changed quite recently to make it clear paying a deposit didnt guarantee anything.

      That excerpt is from the updated terms.

      The terms say that there is “no binding sale contract”, but there is nothing in the article that “confirms” it’s not being made (it probably isn’t, but there’s still no confirmation).

      Changing the terms and conditions to say you are now allowed to steal from your customers doesn’t seem like it would be legal. Which of course is why trump’s doing it.

        Everyone’s changing ToS on the fly nowadays. This isn’t even special Trump fuckery. Having to agree to new ToS after a sale needs to be punished.

        Unfortunately, the onus would be on you to prove it in court if the company doesn’t follow through. Nobody just shows up to call out a company for doing something that isn’t enforceable.

        Word to the wise, this is an “easy” way around most HOA rules: you just gotta have lawyer money and time.
