They’re rapidly being converted into generators to meet A.I.’s insatiable demand for electricity. Environmentalists call it a step backward.

I was just wondering what would be the most expensive question you can ask AI in a free tier.

Lets put those engines to work and have a little more deficit.

Yes, but he free tier becomes too expensive to maintain and they have to end it or restrict it, AI will have much harder time to get properly mainstream.

If that’s your goal, I don’t think it is worth the effort. I think that ship has sailed. AI isn’t going away. Ruining one companies free tier product isn’t going to stop AI adoption by the world.

There are geographical differences. Locally i can only see larger adoption in music and software industry. Everywhere else there are just low tier chatbots doing really simple customer service stuff.

AI industry needs the “average Joe” to get dependant on his personal agent that his paying for. I’m not seeing that yet on any level.

There really is a large adoption of AI inside businesses going on. So much of the products and services we may consume are AI generated or AI augmented somewhere along the lines even if the end customer isn’t seeing it.

AI industry needs the “average Joe” to get dependant on his personal agent that his paying for. I’m not seeing that yet on any level.

Think about smart TVs. Today they are customer spying devices that you have to pay for and put in your home if you want to interact with most of the video entertainment world. The sales pitch and business plan for Smart TVs didn’t start out that way, but here we are today. If you go to any retailer that sells TVs you might have ZERO choices of non-Smart TV.

I can see AI going that direction for “average Joe”. Its not a product that Joe seeks out, but rather the product or service he’s been using up to now gets deprecated and his only alternative is the new AI version the company sells. Joe doesn’t need to want AI, it may end up being included in the only options to him on the market.
