I am actually serious, I am curious and eager to read the argument for digital zoom not being zoom at all you said you’re going to make and will read it with full attention. I commented because I like photography and sharing accurate information, not because I have a bone to pick with you.
I’ll say it again… Lemmy does not need to be a copy of Reddit. If you disagree with that then disagree with it. But acting like it’s not a valid point is just ignoring my argument.
I also already made my point here. Zoom requires a zoom lens not just a focusing lens and not less pixels. No matter what tricks you played 35mm is never going to be zoomed in full format and the same is true for digital.
