Title. I’ve ask mechanic friends and they said to expect in dash features to be busted if you pull the parts, but I suspect Faraday caging it could be a solution. I know there’s only so much to be done about data being collected physically from the vehicle, but at least preventing it from being sent off remotely would be a win.

It seems to be a really useful and detailed resource, but it unfortunately appears to be limited to models sold on the American marker

This is amazing, thanks for sharing. I’ve spent a lot of time searching for the full service manuals and I have been able to find them for the cars I own but dang it’s always a fight. And then when I go to work on other people’s cars, I can never find them.

        Damn, sorry to hear ☹️

Still, you gotta give the folks behind all that some mad props for archiving what they do have access to…

          Oh absolutely!

I have a 2021 SEAT Leon FR PHEV hatchback, and I know SEAT isn’t a huge brand all over the world, so I am not surprised.

I also noted that Skoda is also missing from the brands.

Both of these brands are part of the WAG sphere, SEAT is Spanish and Skoda is Czech, SEAT is shutting down and being replaced by a new brand from their sport division, Cupra.

Based on the brands listed, I suspect this is an American site, so I don’t blame them for not having brands not for sale in the US.
