Deepseek v4 flash as it is now is perfectly fine for the basic agent stuff I use it for which is basically remote controlling my computer from a distance without using remote desktop. Not sure id be effected significantly if they blocked off their future models.
Im learning to make edm visuals on tiktok using primarily Blender. hardlysleep.ing on ig/rednote, etc.

Hop on rednote, they aren’t fans of their own AI and were collectively throwing fits when claude got banned there.
What do you use it for? Nomachine worked nicer for my usecase.
Setlled on bazzite out of laziness, preferred cachyos

I really need to backup my music, pure apple music and sc mightve been a mistake, great for discoverability, but I shouldve been downloading and backingup everything, every once in a while a song gets taken down

Im less anti ai with local models using something like hermes, i like the idea of chat with your computer to get it to do stuff when not sitting at it, not that ive actually used it that way or thought of a usecase yet lol, I used it to make a web page using threejs and launch it, all I could think was damn, in the time I spent waiting I could’ve actually learned what I’m doing. I was just curious if it could, lowkey made something more decent than I probably would in a few days, demotivating af, forgot how much worse it is when the AI actually suceeds. At least when it fails you don’t lose the motivation to learn.

1 token/second isn’t remotely acceptsble lol
People ask humans because they want to interact with humans, just say you don’t know and they’ll ask ai themselves, unnecessary middlemannimg for ego boost is weird
Please don’t compare how I use AI to how you do, I hope I never ask you a question and trust you like I would a human
I want clippy but actually useful with all software, just giving tips when needed, ai can be useful sometimes, idk like im bad at math always have been, I need to sort some curves by index recentlly and it helped with the math logic a lot, otherwise I was using a repeat node and it was a lot slower than the way it showed me. Downside ofc was the ai way isn’t fully accurate or implementable as they say, has to be modified, it makes up nodes that don’t exist, but there are similar ones.

I have hella hardcovers I don’t read because the lighting always feels off, reread a few digitally lol, obviously its more comfortable and convenient to move around anywhere. In ideal conditions paper is best still.

infinite complications, like needing good lighting, can’t have dirty hands (I’ve always snacked while reading all my childhood books got hot cheeto dust on them, my tablet and phone are squeaky clean)
idr how share works, if you continue a conversation isnt it on your account, like the original conversation starter isn’t getting xharged, anyone sharing it anywhere publically indexed likely isnt sharing sensitive information so I don’t really see the issue
